FIRST TIME ADDING COURSE ON THE LAST DAY!!! |
at least for the past 20.5 years,
that I don't understand what my business valuation lecturer was talking about during his lecture.
I found myself having some problems understanding the specific finance terms that he mentioned in his past two lectures.
I tried to figure out why it is so.
Sooner I realized that it could be because I never take a foundation course on finance before.
So, when he mentioned about
'long position',
'short position',
'growth stock',
'value stock',
'portfolio SMB',
'portfolio HML',
'beta' & etc,
my mind came into a conclusion:
Understanding each of the terms is easy,
BUT when all of them are combined into a sentence,
my mind becomes totally BLANK!!
Although I can still manage to grab some idea about those mind-bending concepts & formula,
but that bits will not be enough for me to survive in this course.
So, the three musketeers i.e. 2 of my close friends and I dropped out this course.
And I resolved to the very basic foundation of finance course i.e.
International Finance Institution & Market I.
Usually,
To drop a course & enrol myself in another course is NOT a problem.
But when it comes to the deadline,
it WILL be a problem to fellow lazy students like me!
Heart pounding hard as the time ticked,
We searched through the course catalogue,
hoping to find one course that suit us BEST.
But, when we looked into the details
ALMOST all classes that we wanted were FULL!!!!
If this was not the situation,
then we would probably face another situation where timetable CLASHED!
T_____T
Well....at last,
I got myself a seat for IFIM I course.
But, the three musketeers spread from one tutorial class to different classes & even different courses.
Sigh~~
Have to confront with a totally unfamiliar environment without any familiar faces..

Okay, this is the end of my thought.
